First edition of the play Blue Denim by James Herlihy (of Midnight Cowboy fame).

Tipped into this copy is a handwritten letter, in envelope, from Herlihy to Stuart Oderman, writer and composer for silent films. In the letter, Herlihy thanks Oderman for supplying him with “Kirkwoodiana” (referring to the playwright and author James Kirkwood) and makes mention of getting his teeth capped. Dated 5/20/89.

First edition/first Printing Blue Denim. Random House, 1958. Hardcover. Good. Some discoloration and bumping to page block. Small amt of staining from boards being touched by non-archival tape. Jacket: VG or better. Touch of discoloration here and there, light wear to some extremities. Not price clipped.
