TRIO - Dorothy Baker
The Sun Dial Press 1945 printing, from the original plates. True first printing was two years earlier. Trio explores a love triangle of two women, a French teacher, and her assistant, and one young man, a student. It is often referred to as an early lesbian pulp novel. Baker and her husband made the novel into a play, but it was quickly taken off Broadway on grounds of obscenity, because of its lesbian themes.
